* "Memory" mode, where waiting orders quickly turn into question marks, requiring memorization skills in order to remember what each customer requested. If customer satisfaction dips low enough, the game ends. If players take too long, or try to deliver the wrong pizza, the customer hangs up the phone, causing a decrease in overall customer satisfaction. This icon must be clicked, and the player must then click the correct pizza kitchen in order to dispatch the needed pizza to the customer. During gameplay, customers will appear with an icon representing a specific pizza topping they are calling to order. Each of these kitchens is responsible for producing and delivery pizzas with a specific topping. The game levels take place in a number of different locations, with each location having a unique topography, including two or more pizza kitchens. The objective of "Pizza Frenzy" is to quickly deliver the correct pizzas to customers.

A trial Windows version of the game can be downloaded and played for an hour, with full capabilities unlockable for a fee. "Pizza Frenzy" is an arcade-style pizza delivery game written by Sprout Games and published by PopCap Games. Requirements= OS: Win 98/ME/2000/XP/Vista. Publisher= PopCap Games (previously by GameHouse)ĭesigner= James Gwertzman, Del Chafe and Ed Allard It’s still a game worth playing if you are really bored, and I could perhaps see very young kids – maybe – enjoying this…But for me it’s just not a typical PopCap game and so while I don’t hate it, I just don’t find it appealing to play.Developer= PopCap Games (formerly by Sprout Games) I try to play it again and again, but it’s the only popcap game i have where I can easily press the exit button! It’s really a shame as I can see how this game could have been made more fun, faster levels, more bonus features, etc.įor a PopCap game I’ve been left very disappointed. Many levels in I am still able to send out all my orders in time and I just really was expecting more from this. I thought the game would get tougher the more levels you go through but it also seems to be pretty static. There are bonus game where you can design your own pizza for example, but it has no visible impact on the gameplay and I just haven’t managed to really play this game through enough to tell you if there is anything else that’s good. You are given different neighbourhood scenes and have to deliver your pizzas as fast as you can! The whole idea of the game is basically this. The faster you play the more orders you fulfil in the time limit. …And that’s it! That’s mostly the whole gameplay. If customers don’t get a pizza in time they will stop showing their order and you lose some points…. As long as the van is out for delivery you can’t place any more orders. You can deliver up to two pizzas at a time, and then watch as the van quickly drives to those houses and then returns to your shop to get more pizzas for delivery. Your job is to use your mouse and click on the pizza followed by the house it needs to be delivered to, then send the delivery van on its way. This appears as a picture of the pizza they want (one of the 2 you started with) above their house with a little picture of them there too. These 2 flavours appear in the right of the screen and the rest of the screen is filled with a cartoonish looking top-view map of some houses in a neighbourhood.Īs soon as the game starts locals will call your company asking for pizza deliveries. Each level you have to choose 2 pizzas that your company is going to make and sell (say cheese and pepperoni -can’t remember all the pizzas right now). The basic idea of the game is that you own a pizza take away and you have to deliver pizzas to the various locals in the area.
#Pizza frenzy review serial
Pizza Frenzy installed on my windows vista pc quickly and easily, without the need for online activation or any serial codes.and once installed doesn’t need a disc to play. I bought Pizza Frenzy as it’s a popcap game, and being popcap I though it would be excellent and addictive fun…But try as I might to go to this game again and again, it just isn’t the fun I had hoped it would be. I am dithering on whether to give this game a 2 star or 3 star rating.
